CONTROL Resonant Debuts on GeForce NOW as Bundle Deadline Nears

Remedy’s CONTROL Resonant is now available to stream through GeForce NOW, with Ultimate members able to play using cloud performance comparable to an RTX 5080 and features such as DLSS 4, ray tracing, and Reflex. The associated Ultimate membership bundle ends on Sept. 27. GeForce NOW is also set to arrive on Googlebooks, and nine additional games join the service this week.
Remedy’s CONTROL Resonant arrives on GeForce NOW the same day it launches. Players follow Dylan Faden through a transformed Manhattan, using his powers and the shape-shifting Aberrant against threats including the Hiss and Mold while seeking Jesse Faden. Ultimate subscribers can stream with RTX 5080-level cloud performance, DLSS 4, ray tracing, Reflex, Cinematic Quality Streaming, and up to 5K HDR on compatible hardware, avoiding a 100GB download.
A 12-month Ultimate plan bought by Sept. 27 includes the game. GeForce NOW is also planned for Googlebooks, Google’s ChromeOS/Android laptop category, with rollout this fall. Nine titles join this week, led by DragonSword: Awakening.
Cloud streaming may lower hardware barriers for players who lack powerful PCs, letting them try demanding titles through subscriptions. The bundle deadline could nudge some consumers toward annual Ultimate plans, while Googlebooks support might extend cloud gaming to more everyday laptops. Developers and platform owners could benefit from broader reach, though reliance on stable networks and subscription terms may shape how inclusive or practical this shift becomes.
